Bot Commands Guide

Everything you need to set up and use RokRecruit on your Discord server.

Admin Commands

These commands require the Manage Server permission.

/setupSlash Command

Configure RokRecruit for your server. This is the first command to run after adding the bot.

Parameters

  • channel (required)The text channel where application summaries will be posted for recruiters to review.
  • languageBot language: English, French, or Spanish. Default: English.
  • kingdomYour kingdom number (e.g. 4030). Shown on applications.
  • allianceYour alliance name. Shown on the recruitment panel.
  • auto-closeAuto-archive threads after review. Default: on.

Example

/recruit-panelSlash Command

Post a recruitment panel in the current channel. The panel displays an embed with an "Apply Now" button that candidates can click to start their application.

Parameters

  • titleCustom panel title. Default: "Join our Alliance!"
  • descriptionCustom panel description.
/exportSlash Command

Export all approved applications as a CSV file. Useful for sharing data with R4/R5, tracking in spreadsheets, or archiving.

User Commands

These commands can be used by anyone on the server.

/recruitSlash Command

Start a recruitment application directly via slash command. Opens a private thread where the bot asks you the questionnaire. This is an alternative to clicking the button on the recruitment panel.

Application Flow

A candidate uses /recruit or clicks "Apply Now" on the recruitment panel.

A private thread is created. The bot asks questions one by one (text answers + screenshots).

Once complete, a summary embed is posted in the recruitment channel with Approve / Reject buttons.

A recruiter clicks Approve or Reject. The candidate receives a DM notification.

Approved candidates can be exported to CSV or managed from the web dashboard.

Tips

Run /setup before anything else — the bot needs a channel to post applications.

Use /recruit-panel in a visible channel so candidates can easily find the Apply button.

Candidates can type "cancel" at any time during the questionnaire to abort.

*

Applications timeout after 10 minutes of inactivity.

*

Use the web dashboard at rok.shinkofa.com for advanced features like custom questions, scoring, and team management.
