Terms of Service

1. Service Description

RokRecruit is a recruitment management platform for the mobile game Rise of Kingdoms. It consists of a Discord bot and a web dashboard that help alliance leaders and recruiters collect, review, and manage player applications.

RokRecruit is operated by Jay / Shinkofa, a sole trader based in Spain. The service is accessible at rok.shinkofa.com and through the RokRecruit Discord bot.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using RokRecruit — either by adding the bot to your Discord server or by signing in to the web platform — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

These terms apply to all users: server owners, administrators, recruiters, viewers, and applicants.

3. Account and Discord OAuth2

RokRecruit uses Discord OAuth2 for authentication. When you sign in, we request the following Discord scopes:

• identify — your Discord user ID, username, and avatar
• guilds — the list of Discord servers you belong to, to determine where the bot is installed

We do not request access to send messages on your behalf, read your DMs, or perform any action outside of what is explicitly described.

You are responsible for keeping your Discord account secure. We are not liable for unauthorized access resulting from compromised Discord credentials.

4. User Responsibilities

By using RokRecruit, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information in applications and settings
• Not attempt to circumvent limits, exploit the service, or interfere with other users
• Not use RokRecruit for any purpose other than Rise of Kingdoms alliance recruitment
• Comply with Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
• Not upload screenshots or content that violates any third-party rights

Server owners are responsible for how RokRecruit is used on their servers, including the actions of their team members.

5. Free and Premium Tiers

RokRecruit offers a permanent Free tier with no time limit and no credit card required. Premium tiers (Pro and Kingdom) unlock additional features described on the pricing page.

Feature availability may change over time. We will provide reasonable notice before removing features that were available on a paid tier you are actively subscribed to.

6. Payment Terms

Payments for premium tiers are processed via Stripe or Discord Premium Apps. By subscribing, you authorize the corresponding payment processor to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selection).

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You can cancel at any time — access continues until the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are issued for partial billing periods, except as required by applicable law
• If payment fails, access to premium features may be suspended until payment is resolved

All prices are in USD. Applicable taxes may apply depending on your jurisdiction.

7. Intellectual Property

All code, design, and content of RokRecruit is the property of Jay / Shinkofa. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of the service without prior written permission.

Rise of Kingdoms is a registered trademark of LilithGames. RokRecruit is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with LilithGames.

Content uploaded by users (application answers, screenshots) remains owned by the respective users. You grant RokRecruit a limited license to store and display that content for the purpose of providing the service.

8. Limitation of Liability

RokRecruit is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, freedom from bugs, or suitability for any particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jay / Shinkofa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of game progress.

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to RokRecruit for accounts that violate these Terms of Service, engage in abuse, or cause harm to other users or to the service itself.

We will attempt to notify you before taking action, unless the violation is severe or urgent. If you believe your account was suspended in error, contact us at jay@shinkofa.com.

You may stop using RokRecruit at any time. To request deletion of your data, see our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

For significant changes, we will make a reasonable effort to notify users via the dashboard or Discord.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain and, where applicable, European Union regulations. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain.
